LETTER TO THE GOVERNOR

Assignment 1
Write a three paragraph business letter to Governor AndrewM. Cuomo about NYC students
not having the opportunity to take the U.S. History Regents in January 2011.
PARAGRAPH 1: Express your thoughts and feelings about your not being able to
                            take the U.S. History Regents because NYC schools were closed.
PARAGRAPH 2: Write about what the Governor Cuomo could have done, to correct this
                            problem for NYC and NY State high school students, that he did not do.
PARAGRAPH 3: Write what he can do now to correct the probelm - provide him
                            with sensible constructive suggestions that he can act on to correct
                            the problem - in the students interests.
